The Role

Sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard launched their eponymous brand in the Fall of 2010 with their signature dickey jacket. Their collection of perfectly designed essentials blends designer aesthetic with both wearability and ease, providing a versatile look for the woman who is trying to do it all.

Veronica Beard is sold sold at our store on Madison Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Intermix, and an additional 150 + stores globally.

Veronica Beard is looking for a Wholesale Financial Planner to support the largely growing wholesale business. This person will be responsible for reviewing weekly performance, developing department and classification strategies, creating inventory plans to support growth, and ensuring margin and sell thru targets are achieved in season. This role will report into the Director of Planning.


Execute weekly reporting and performance analysis by delivery and classification for wholesale key accounts and/or sales regions

Develop strong collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners

Highlight takeaways and deliverables needed to limit risk and maximize in season opportunities

Monitor wholesale product sell thru and work with global planning team to manage company inventory

Work with Global Planning Manager to maximize replenishment business and align on ideal model stocks by selling channel

Run monthly profitability by account and develop strategies to improve profit YoY

Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting in partnership with the Planning Director

Complete seasonal product hindsight reporting to support future strategy development and ensure account needs are being fulfilled

Partner with Account Executives in prepping for market through additional ad hoc reporting, creating assortment and sku count plans by classification, and financial plan build outs for key accounts


Bachelor’s Degree

4-5 years of relevant wholesale planning experience in planning, buying, and/or account management

Advanced excel skills

Comprehensive understanding of retail math

Strong attention to detail

Excellent analytical skills

Organized and able to multi-task

Personable, team oriented and capable of developing strong working relationship with internal and external partners
