The Vice President Communications & Brand Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing a global communication and marketing strategy to support overall brand and business objectives. We are seeking a creative and experienced leader to drive brand strategies that focus on building brand awareness and identity across wholesale and retail channels.

Build VB brand in the market by strengthening our unique voice and creating strong and consistent campaigns that build brand awareness, relevance, and esteem among target audiences.
Support key business initiatives through integrated communications campaigns targeting industry & celebrity influencers, national and regional, trade press and social/digital outlets.
Ensure cohesive, omni-channel storytelling through on-brand creative and effective channel strategies.
Create and oversee the implementation of integrated marketing and communications strategies that utilize both traditional and digital marketing tactics.
Drive media strategy and analysis, leads media recommendations and reviews optimizations
Oversee development and execution of social media and activities to drive awareness, build community and drive demand.
Develop an influencer & celebrity relations program to strategically drive critical relationships and reputation for VB
Develop and manage retail marketing strategy for multi store network
Collaborate with wholesale partners to support their marketing initiatives, advertising and digital messaging while protecting brand integrity.
Develop a global communications plan that extends the reach of VB with a focus on key international markets.
Develop, maintain and administer our long-range strategic marketing plan and monitor the results of all activities.
Develop and maintain a rolling 12-month marketing and communications plan.
Provide timely reporting on the results of strategic and tactical marketing initiatives that includes both qualitative and quantitative data supporting and validating marketing spend.
Create and manage the financial budgets across all areas of responsibility
Manage the relationship between subcontractors and agencies contracted to deliver marketing and communications initiatives.
12+ years of proven leadership in brand marketing and communications through either in-house and/or agency experience
Bachelors’ degree required.
Experience in agency management, budget management and reporting needs/metrics
Current knowledge of digital communications techniques, social media engagement, and content amplification is preferred
Exceptional interpersonal skills, a focused listener able to work quickly, thoughtfully and collaboratively with different personalities.
A hands-on collaborative style of working and a commitment to being a team player is a must.
The ability to influence peers and senior leaders across the business, and to inspire, nurture and lead team members
Incredibly strong and senior editorial and publishing relationships with major top tier media, influencer and strategic partner communities
Experience building and managing global and geographically dispersed teams and multiple vendors and agencies and guiding them to success.
Deep understanding of the luxury fashion consumer
