The Role

Veronica Beard is an elevated American sportswear brand that strikes the balance between classic and cool. It offers a modern perspective on iconic staples and results in a ready to wear collection that is hardwired for real life. Sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard launched their eponymous brand in the Fall of 2010 with their signature dickey jacket. Their collection of perfectly designed essentials blends designer aesthetic with both wearability and ease, providing a versatile look for the woman who is trying to do it all.

Veronica Beard is sold at our store on Madison Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Intermix, and an additional 150 + stores globally.

We have an opening for a Production Assistant position. It is a full time position. We are open to candidates with women’s wear experience along with domestic/overseas background in production.


Assist production team with tracking production shipments

Computer savvy and comfortable using ERP system

Interact with Tech Design on garment fit status as needed

Assist in planning and ordering trim/linings

Manage and order labels, hangtags, packaging

Preparing/packing trim for production orders

Data entry as needed

Follow up with domestic/overseas factories on production status multiple times/week

Proactively help ensure timely deliveries

Email follow-up in a timely manner

Understand and analyze reports

Help maintain production WIP report

Prepare production cut tickets

Attend weekly production meetings prepared with garment status updates/reports

Conduct fabric inventory at the end of the season

Coordinate trucking pick-ups with warehouse and factories


Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 1 year work experience or three solid internship experiences

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once while working in a fast-paced environment

Detail oriented and analytical

Highly organized and efficient

Highly motivated and ambitious

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PC skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Preferred ERP experience from previous employment or internship

Team Player

Knowledge of domestic and overseas production preferred
