The UX Designer will assist with the realization of Veronica Beard’s digital experience by creating on-brand and user focused solutions. The ideal candidate will find creative ways to inspire the Veronica Beard customer through the use innovative designs that both enhance the customer journey and drive sales for the ecommerce business.
Translate creative into a digital environment that ensures a cohesive Veronica Beard image
Create on-brand, engaging digital content and assets for both website and other digital platforms
Design website, email, digital ads, & social media assets for web team
Understand the brand's audience and identify areas of opportunity
Research best practices to continuously optimize new digital designs
Enhance user interfaces under the guidance of art director and front-end developers
Design and work with developers to create innovative, user-focused solutions that ensure best practice while keeping the look and feel of Veronica Beard branding
Work with digital marketing team to create compelling CRM experience
In conjunction with graphic design: help develop photography and video assets for blog and social media
Assist with product shoot planning including sample management and shoot logistics
Ability to express complex concepts in a clear, concise manner and prioritize workload to hit key deadlines
Brainstorm ideas for digital editorial and marketing content
Strong understanding of the process of concept development and storyboarding for presentations
2+ years of digital design experience in a related field
Eye for design, clean + sophisticated aesthetic, and strong interest in fashion
Strong voice, highly motivated, self-managed, and able to think independently
Innovative thinker always seeking to grow and push brand direction forward
Adobe Suite proficiency
Knowledge of HTML
Strong understanding of UX and responsive design for mobile and desktop
Well-rounded creative portfolio with design, digital, and branding projects
Previous experience at luxury lifestyle brand, fashion brand, or creative agency is preferred
Responds positively to feedback and adapts quickly to change
Thinks with both sides of the brain: creative vision and strong organizational skills
Listens well and no task is too small
Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with a team
