I grew up in San Francisco but am consistently struck by its incredible beauty every time I go home. We visited earlier this month for a trunk show at Neiman Marcus and I managed to squeeze in some of my favorite haunts:
An SF institution. Go for the Carnitas quesadillas - it's divine!
If you love tapas you have to check out this Spanish staple on Embarcadero. With great cocktails to boot!
Cotogna Can't beat the pizza and pasta here! A super-creative take on rustic Italian in Jackson Square.
Known for its creative cocktails and electric decor, this moody spot is a great mix of old world / new world dining.
A boutique hotel in Pacific Heights near family, friends (and all the restaurants and places I like to shop!)
Check out the view
Drive over to Lincoln Golf Course and take in one of the most amazing views you've ever seen. if you're there with the kids, take them to Crissy Field to get a great view of the Golden gate bridge and have a picnic or a jump at the trampoline park.
Elizabeth Charles is one of my favorite boutiques in the city. It has the perfect mix of cool, classic and chic clothes - and it doesn't hurt that they carry a lot of VB.
