The Role

Veronica Beard is an elevated American sportswear brand that strikes the balance between classic and cool. It offers a modern perspective on iconic staples and results in a read to wear collection that is hardwired for real life. Sisters-in-law Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard launched their eponymous brand in the Fall of 2010 with their signature dickey jacket. Their collection of perfectly designed essentials blends designer aesthetic with both wearabilty and ease, providing a versatile look for the woman who is trying to do it all.

Veronica Beard is sold at our store on Madison Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Intermix, and an additional 150 + stores globally. As a Top 10 Finalist for CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, there are a lot of future opportunities at Veronica Beard.

The Product Development Associate will be working closely with the Product Development Team and Production Team.


Work with Product Development Team to develop and execute proto samples & SMS for main collections, jeans woven line, and exclusive programs

Support Design/Product Development with re-cuts & exclusives programs by providing complete package for domestic & oversea vendors

Communicate with domestic & international vendors daily

Troubleshoot & supply any needs from the vendors regarding development

Track, log in, and organize all proto samples & SMS

Set up and update styles master in Simparel with accurate information

Work with factories & graders to get accurate yield information for all styles

Participate in seasonal line review to record all changes & updates on each style

Work with Product Development Team to compile a full package – pattern, trims, cuttermust, pricing, swatches, counter sourced materials, etc - to pass off to Production Team each season

1-2 years of experience

Proactive, extremely organized and detail oriented

Ability to multi task and strong problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office, use Photoshop a plus
