Veronica Beard is hiring an Operations and IT Manager who will oversee business process and manage change as our business develops across wholesale and retail channels. The Manager will be responsible for developing a deep knowledge of supported business areas, conducting business requirement sessions, documenting current and to-be process flows and creating detailed requirements documents to support business objectives. The candidate will excel in project management and act as an integral partner to team management. This strong leader serves as a technical expert and resource for all systems and locations to deliver the best possible experience for both our customers and employees. This role reports to the President.
Support for all business systems with focus on best practices, user training and system configuration before investigating whether any customization is necessary.
Identify, propose and implement improvements in systems, reports and processes across the organization
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, provide support in developing technical solutions and documents.
Plan, design, develop, and document business requirements for new system functionality, including business requirements, RFP’s, functional specifications, technical specification and user documentation.
Support vendor integration, SLA monitoring and process governance.
Coordinate and perform in-depth system testing and other post-implementation support.
Provide end-user support for all business systems including: ERP, POS, Reporting and Business Intelligence tools.
Work with employees across the business to lead issue troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementing solutions.
Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.
Identify, recommend and prepare IT policies and procedures.
Maintain document and policies, procedures and associated training plans for system administration and appropriate use.
Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 to 6 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst role
Experience with ERP, POS and Business Intelligence Tools
Experience in Apparelm Retail Store and/or E-Commerce operations is highly preferred. (Knowledge of the full order lifecycle and business processes)
Demonstrated experience documenting use cases, functional requirements and nonfunctional requirements
Demonstrated competency in documenting complex enterprise system integrations inclusive of nonfunctional requirements
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross functional departments in requirements sessions
Demonstrated ability to partner and liaison between business users and a technical development team
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem solving skill are required.
Detail-oriented, well-organized with ability to translate & communicate complex and abstract issues.
Critical thinking and ability to analyze data for decision making to best support the needs of the business.
Highly motivated/self-starter with sense of ownership and desire to succeed.
