Veronica Beard is sold sold at our store on Madison Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Intermix, and an additional 150 + stores globally.
The IT/Logistics manager will be responsible for overseeing the management of our ERP & POS systems and will act as the primary point of contact for our 3PL warehouses. They will have a command of general IT and networking skills, EDI transmissions & WMS systems, as well as a solid understanding of inbound and outbound freight and shipping. Candidate must have the ability to multi-task, adapt to changing priorities and meet aggressive deadlines. Broad and effective communication skills required to work across all company departments and a wide array of outside partners. This position will report directly to the President.
Monitor, adapt and improve operating systems; Simparel ERP, KWI POS, accounting platforms.
Oversee daily ERP, EDI, WMS, POS transmissions; monitor integrations and processes; troubleshoot issues as needed.
Testing and mapping of new EDI trading partners.
Support sales, ecomm, retail, production teams with systems issues.
Network security management and ensures disaster recovery plan is in place.
Administration and maintenance of the company’s WAN and servers (Outlook, share drives, database, remote servers and telephones).
Install, maintain, and upgrade Windows and Mac computers and peripherals for end users.
Install and configure print servers, printers and modems/wifi.
Keep inventory of hardware and maintenance records.
Induct new staff on IT systems.
Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to management, escalating issues in a timely fashion.
Identify future IT/systems needs and lead on-boarding plan with new technologies.
Maintain effective oversight of 3PLs as primary point person.
Strategize with 3PLs on inbound/outbound schedules and ensure appropriate staffing is in place to meet aggressive monthly shipping goals.
Oversee 3PL cost analysis and negotiations; explore both competitive and additional options as the business scales globally.
Monitor 3PL inventory, request cycle counts as needed and oversee bi-annual physical inventory counts.
Manage inter-warehouse transfers.
Run end of month systems processes and generate reports for accounting and insurance purposes.
Work with upper management on longer term company goals and strategy.
5+ years’ experience in IT, including experience working with ERP systems; Simparel experience preferred.
Solid base in servers, networking, security, hosting and associated mid-level company IT infrastructure.
Familiarity with day-to-day ERP operational processes (SO maintenance, invoicing, RMA/Credit Memo Creation, PO maintenance, receivings, label printing).
Knowledge of WMS, POS and ecomm platforms.
Knowledge of current vendor EDI/routing guidelines.
Experience working with 3PL and understanding the receive/pick/pack/routing processes.
Strong leadership, organizational planning, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once while working in a fast-paced environment.
Highly process-oriented with excellent skills in managing / identifying process improvement.
Highly motivated and ambitious.
