The rise of a jean refers to the measurement of the seam between the legs to the top of the waistband. The higher the measurement, the higher it’ll sit—or rise—on your waist.
Determine what's best for you:
- Sits above the belly button and natural waistline
- Offers a very flattering and leg-lengthening look
- Typically 11.5" or higher rise
- Based on size 27
- Sits above the belly button
- Offers a lengthening effect
- Typically a 10” or higher rise
- Based on size 27
- Sits at or near the belly button
- Offers a classic, balanced look
- Typically between a 8"-9.5" rise
- Based on size 27
The inseam of a jean refers to the measurement of the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Based on 5'6" - 5'7" height:
- Crop: 25” - 26”
- Ankle: 27” - 28”
- Regular: 29” - 31”
- Long: 32” - 34”
