The Checklist
1. Chic sandals—the wear-with-everything shoes (and we mean everything, from a bombshell maillot to a gorgeous sundress)
2. Gold jewelry! Why not glam it up at the beach?
3. A wide-brim hat. Stay in the shade—and conquer bad beach hair, too.
4. Straw tote. If you're going to carry everything, might as well make it chic.
6. Sunglasses. These are essential! We all love the way they look, but they're also SPF for the eyes, protecting them from harsh and damaging UV rays.
7. A lightweight pullover—for when summer days drift away to oh, oh, those summer nights…
