Behind the Scenes

VMB Loves: "Shoot First"

My brilliant brother Matt Miele and his partner Justin Bare just released their latest film, "Harry Benson: Shoot First," which profiles the legendary photographer Harry Benson. Not only is it a film about photography and art, but it's about access and capturing the history of the world. Harry photographed everyone from The Beatles and Bianca Jagger to Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr., and has documented so many significant moments over the last 60-plus years.

The film also explores how someone like Harry was given such unlimited and intimate access to so many of our world leaders and how his role of a documentarian influenced our culture. The film is a must-see and I couldn't be more proud of my brother's hard work.

I am also so excited that our Madison Avenue store will be showcasing a selection of Harry's photographs available for sale. Stop by the store and soak up the history!
